Plant Based Hand Crafted Spice Blend
South African Peri- Peri Spice Blend
Homemade chili is perfect, especially for those wintery nights. Its one of my all-time comfort meals, seasoned with our Peri-Peri blend to create a rich and deep flavored chili; you can also adjust for those who enjoy a touch of heat.
Our Peri-Peri work its magic on baked chicken, add a tablespoon to 1/2 cup of orange juice and marinated chicken overnight in fridge before baking.
The first Europeans to set foot in South Africa were Portuguese explorers, they came across the African bird’s eye chili and introduced the term peri-peri to the cuisine of South Africa.
The chili and the sauce itself is known as “Piri- Piri” in Portuguese. It takes its name from Swahili – ‘Piri-Piri’ means ‘pepper-pepper’ – and has morphed into several iterations, including ‘pili-pili’ and ‘peri-peri.’ The latter, widely used in South Africa, home to countless chicken shops serving tasty grilled birds.
Comes in our signature airtight tin, which measures 2-1/2 inches in diameter and 1-3/4 inches in height.

Some studies show that eating foods seasoned with chili pepper or black pepper can boost metabolism by up to 23%. When you eat a spicy dish, your body generates more heat, which, in turn, helps burn calories. So, spice up your chicken, shrimp, fish, stews, and tofu with our hand crafted South African Peri-Peri blend.
All of our herbs, spices, and blends are the best way to add flavor to food for no extra calories, sugar, sodium, or other junk—which is critical to do when you're trying to lose weight or make that lifestyle shift towards wellness.
Why? It's pretty simple: Research shows that if you don't like the taste of what you eat, you're much less likely to stick to any diet, no matter how disciplined you are. Herbs and spices add a significant amount of flavor to food and can turn, for example, that piece of plain chicken or vegetable into a restaurant-worthy meal, thanks to just a little pinch and dash of herbs and spices.
All our whole spices and spice blends are Zero Sodium, No Salt, No Sugar, No MSG, No Preservatives, No Fillers and Gluten Free- no other crap in them but pure herbs, spices and mindful loving.
