Tasmanian Pepper Berries

Our native Pepper Berry hails from smallholder farmers in Australia. Known as mountain Pepper Berry, its dark-blue to black and has an intense peppery bite. It is larger than black pepper. They have an earthy aftertaste, which lingers with a heat that slowly builds up for about three minutes after eating. Use these Pepper Berries with care; use about one-tenth the amount of conventional pepper one would use. An adventure awaits your palate.
