When your team scores, celebrate with a Turmeric Señorita!
Adding turmeric spice to this cocktail makes for a cute, softer side of this drink. The twist on this cocktail ditches limes for orange and lemon juice. It's the drink you'll want for every girl's night or try it today at your Super Bowl Sunday Half-time party!
Turmeric Señorita
Ingredients:
Lemon wedge, for rimming glasses
Coarse salt, for rimming glasses
2 cups ice
2 1/4 cups orange juice
2 teaspoons Nirmala's Kitchen Turmeric
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup triple sec
1 cup tequila
4 Lemon or Orange Slices
Fresh mint
Directions:
Rub a lemon wedge around the rim of four glasses, then dip rims into salt.
To each glass, add ice, orange juice, turmeric, lemon juice, triple sec, and tequila. Stir to combine. (if you prefer a lot of ice, stir together mixture first, then pour over ice.)
Garnish each glass with a orange or lemon slice and fresh mint
